Alison Bierwagen | Class of 2025 | Setter

Liberty University

Alison Bierwagen was a four-year varsity player for DeLand Volleyball, finishing her high school career with 1,513 assists, 616 kills, 992 digs, and 177 aces. A three-time Volusia-Flagler All-Area selection and two-time team MVP, Alison made an impact as both a setter and attacker throughout her career as a Bulldog.

Following her graduation from DeLand in 2025, Alison continued her volleyball career at Liberty University, competing at the NCAA Division I level. As a freshman, she recorded 795 assists, 210 digs, and 44 aces, earning CUSA All-Freshman Team honors. She is currently entering her sophomore season with the Flames.

Sophie Jones | Class of 2026 | DS/Libero

Stetson University

Sophie Jones was a two-year varsity defensive specialist/libero for DeLand Volleyball. During her senior season, she recorded 185 digs and 247 serve receptions, averaging 2.6 digs per set and finishing third on the team in digs. Across her final two seasons, Sophie recorded over 400 serve receptions for the Bulldogs.

Following her graduation from DeLand in 2026, Sophie continued her volleyball career at Stetson University, competing at the NCAA Division I level as a defensive specialist/libero.

Ella Pringle | Class of 2025 | Outside Hitter / Beach Volleyball

Florida Southern College

Ella Pringle was a four-year varsity player and six-rotation outside hitter for DeLand Volleyball, finishing her high school career with 895 kills and 1,426 digs. During her senior season, she recorded 266 kills, 305 digs, 402 serve receptions, and 30 service aces while hitting .245.

Following her graduation from DeLand in 2025, Ella continued her athletic career at Florida Southern College, competing in beach volleyball at the NCAA Division II level. During her freshman season, she was named Sunshine State Conference Co-Freshman of the Year. Ella is currently entering her sophomore season with the Moccasins.

Taylor Fonseca | Class of 2026 | Libero

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University

Taylor Fonseca was a two-year varsity libero for DeLand Volleyball, finishing her high school career with over 1,300 digs and 1,500 serve receptions. During her senior season, she led the Bulldogs with 390 digs and 468 serve receptions while averaging 5.1 digs per set.

Following her graduation from DeLand in 2026, Taylor will continue her volleyball career at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where she will compete at the NCAA Division II level as a libero.

Morgan Word | Class of 2022 | Middle Blocker

Florida Southern College

Morgan Word was a four-year varsity player for DeLand, developing into one of the Bulldogs' most productive front-row players during her career. She finished with 565 career kills and 242 total blocks, steadily increasingly her production each season. As a senior, Morgan recorded a career-high 214 kills and 104 blocks, while posting a 51.3% kill rate. She averaged 1.1 blocks per set, finishing second in the district in total blocks.

Morgan continued her career at Florida Southern College, competing for four seasons at the NCAA Division II level. She developed into a key contributor for the Moccasins and capped her collegiate career in 2025 by leading the team with 234 kills, 41 service aces, 67 blocks and 319 points. She also earned multiple academic honors before graduating in 2026 with her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management.

Anna Vandell | Class of 2026 | Right Side

University of Montevallo

Anna Vandell was a two-year varsity player for DeLand Volleyball, finishing her high school career with 250 kills, 69 blocks, and 74 digs. During her senior season, she recorded 175 kills and 42 blocks, earning DeLand’s Offensive Player of the Year and All-Region Second Team honors.

Following her graduation from DeLand in 2026, Anna continued her volleyball career at the University of Montevallo, where she competes at the NCAA Division II level as a right side.

Ella Ruckman | Class of 2024 | Opposite

Converse University

Ella Ruckman was a three-year varsity player for DeLand Volleyball. During her senior season, she recorded 71 kills, 17 blocks, and 34 digs for the Bulldogs.

Following her graduation from DeLand in 2024, Ella continued her volleyball career at Converse University, where she competes at the NCAA Division II level. She is currently a junior and is expected to graduate in May 2028.

Katarina Balletic | Class of 2022 | Setter

Baldwin Wallace University

Katarina Blazetic was a four-year varsity player and two-year starter for DeLand Volleyball, earning two All-District Honorable Mention selections during her high school career. Over her final two seasons, she recorded 839 assists and 359 digs, including 638 assists and 236 digs during her senior season.

Following her graduation from DeLand in 2022, Katarina continued her volleyball career at Baldwin Wallace University, competing at the NCAA Division III level for four years. She finished her collegiate career with 2,413 assists, ranking 7th all-time in Baldwin Wallace program history. During her senior season, she led the Ohio Athletic Conference with 1,020 assists and earned First Team All-OAC honors.

Emma Lynn Van Duesen | Class of 2024 | Pin Hitter

Lake-Sumter State College

Emma Lynn Van Deusen was a four-year varsity player for DeLand Volleyball, finishing her high school career with 599 kills, 146 blocks, and 373 digs. During her senior season, she led the Bulldogs with 250 kills while hitting .255.

Following her graduation from DeLand in 2024, Emma continued her athletic career at Lake-Sumter State College, where she competed in both indoor and beach volleyball from 2024–2026.

Madison Logsdon | Class of 2021 | Libero

College of Coastal Georgia

Madison Logsdon was a four-year varsity player for DeLand Volleyball, finishing her high school career with 738 digs while also contributing offensively throughout her time as a Bulldog. Over her final three seasons, she recorded at least 424 kills, including 156 kills and a career-high 271 digs during her senior season.

Following her graduation from DeLand in 2021, Madison continued her volleyball career at College of Coastal Georgia, competing at the NAIA level for a year and a half. During her time with the Mariners, Madison contributed defensively as a libero and defensive specialist at the collegiate level.

Grayson Bridgewater | Class of 2026 | Beach Volleyball – Blocker

St. Johns River State College

Grayson Bridgewater was a multi-year varsity athlete at DeLand, competing in both indoor and beach volleyball. During her senior indoor season, the 5’8” outside hitter recorded 91 kills and ranked among the top 20 in 7A District 2 in kills.

On the beach, Grayson developed into one of DeLand’s top players and served as a senior captain. Competing at the No. 1 pair alongside Taylor Fonseca, the duo posted a 10-6 record and earned First Team Volusia-Flagler All-Area honors during the 2026 season.

Grayson continued her volleyball career at St. Johns River State College, competing at the NJCAA level as a beach volleyball blocker beginning with her freshman season.

Deanna Disinter | Class of 2024 | DS/Libero & Beach Defender

University of Lynchburg

Deanna Disinger was a three-year varsity player for DeLand Volleyball, competing as a defensive specialist/libero while also representing DeLand in beach volleyball.

Following her graduation from DeLand in 2024, Deanna continued her volleyball career at the University of Lynchburg, competing at the NCAA Division III level in both indoor and beach volleyball. She is entering her junior year and plans to complete all four years of her collegiate career.

Haley Johnson | Class of 2024 | Middle Blocker

River State College

Haley Johnson was a varsity middle blocker for DeLand Volleyball, contributing both offensively and defensively at the net during her time as a Bulldog.

Following her graduation from DeLand in 2024, Haley continued her volleyball career at Indian River State College, competing at the NJCAA Division II level. She played collegiately for two years, continuing the tradition of Bulldogs competing at the next level.

Addison Clark | Class of 2026 | DS / Beach Defender

Webber International University

Addison Clark competed for DeLand Volleyball in both indoor and beach, serving as a defensive specialist indoors and defender on the beach. During her senior indoor season, she recorded 75 digs in 36 sets, averaging 2.1 digs per set for the Bulldogs.

Following her graduation from DeLand in 2026, Addison continued her volleyball career at Webber International University, competing at the NAIA level in both indoor and beach volleyball.
